Dishwasher
To ensure this heavy-duty cleaning appliance properly, you have to take care of it. Give it a thorough clean with hot water and a sponge. Do not mix any of the nooks and crannies, food residue can be sneaky! Then, run a cycle with a specialty cleanser. For best results, repeat this process once a month.
Washing machine
Use distilled white vinegar and baking soda to keep it fresh and high-functioning. Run an empty cycle with those items to disinfect and give a deep clean. Then run another empty cycle with just hot water. When finished, wipe down.
Oven
Spray the inside of the oven with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. This will break up those stubborn burned in pieces. Let it soak for 30 minutes, then wipe clean. Use a sponge and warm water to finish up.
Fridge
For the outside, put a teaspoon of dish detergent into a litre of warmer water. Using a microfiber cloth, rub the detergent solution onto the marks in small sections, going with the grain. Rinse with clean hot water and dry immediately with a clean cloth.
For the inside, remove all the compartments and soak them in warm water and soak. For those nasty stains, use a scrub and baking soda.
