Simple and fun costumes

The cuteness will never end with these incredibly fun and incredibly easy child costumes!

The Conductor

Choo! choo! The conductor can be achieved by using denim overalls and some coloured scarves. Work on the engine together to add an experience to their lives! Use some left over cardboard, cut out a hole in the centre, then use suspenders or thicker rope or string to allow them to wear it.

Rainy Day

This costume will make the rain go away! Cut out the shape of a cloud using felt or another soft fabric. Stitch the edges together, leaving a space on one side to add the stuffing. Fill to a visibly pleasing level, then sew the end shut. Using blue pants is a simple solution, however you can paint on raindrops. Attach suspenders to the cloud and adjust for comfort.

Scuba Gear

Fun, easy, and RECYCLIABLE! Get a hold of a black one piece, or some black lounge wear, this will be the wetsuit. Take two equally sized soda bottles and paint them a colourful pastel. Use some black tape, and a metallic tape to add some flair to the canisters. Use some string as straps. Then finish off with some goggles!

Retro Gamer

This costume will get you a HIGH SCORE! Use some black lounge wear. Then cut the shape out using cardboard. Paint with a bright yellow. Use stencils or painters tape to get clean edges. Attach with some comfortable straps.

Being a film icon is easy these days! This type of costume is simple and can be achieved by purchasing a costume hoody, or costume sleepwear. The themes and styles change with the latest films, but there will always be something your child loves!

Haunted House

Your child will be the TRICK in TRICK-OR-TREAT with this costume! The base can be anything, but comfortable loungewear is key. Use a single box as a base, then add layers for to shape the house. Using markers for some of the harder, and finer details.

The base of the costume can be achieved with some denim and a bright vest! The horse can be achieved with some simple cardboard cuts, paint with some stylish colours, maybe even turn them into a UNICORN! Use some straps to hold it up.

Building Block

This costume is the building block of a successful Halloween! The easiest thing to do is use a matching outfit as a base. Then match the cardboard to that colour. Use some string or straps to hold the costume up.
